Makan Meet 2022/10/14 with Singaporeans in Taipei

A rare occasion Singaporeans meet up for Makan, just because we just chat at Pasar Malam event at Bottle Factory. Round up the participants when they visited our booth and we have ten person coming together for fun time eating dishes from home. Thanks to Jumbo Kitchen promotion when make coming jumbo un-stoppable.

Great jumbo provide desserts on the house. Great meal together on a Monday evening.

 

Meet up with Seetoh

Seetoh went home for 100days prayer. Drop him off at Taoyuan airport and coffee time. Nice chat with resident all the way from Hualien.

Pre-Holiday 10/9 BBQ with friends

Visiting GLE second time by arranging a bbq session at their balcony. Using recent GLE's purchase gas stove from Costco together with Korean style bbq metal plate. The meats (beef and pork) is well prepare and cooked, comes with sausages from 黑橋牌. 王先生The host has prepare well with numerous drink and dessert selections. Setting up their places for friend to visit .

STB event at Bottle factory 2022/10/8

Event organised by STB. Luckily the booth is offered free, else it won’t be worthwhile to attend. The visitor crowd can be better if not for the rain that deterring their attendance. 

Though raining, however, we saw many Singaporeans coming to give us moral support and contribution to the coffer.

Mooncake Festival 2022/9/9 at GLE house

Thanks Goh Lee Eng and Hubby inviting us to their newly renovated house at MuZha district.  Very cozy top floor penhouse with a comfortable balcony overlooking Taipei city and surrounding mountains.

Foods and Titbits is delicious, host is very hospitable and feed us with unlimited sources of food items. The TimSum from Brothers was great and selective stores. From lunch to dinner and almost stays for Super time, hahaha.

Not forgetting the in-time Mooncake from Ellen, all the ways brought back by Janny Koh, Thanks again.

Pandan Leaf and High Tea 2022/7/31

Trip itinerary including plucking Pandan leave from Constance's place. Also helps to buried the fish that has passed away in the flower pot.

Therafter, went to YuanShan Hotel for High-Tea at  第一夫人 Cafe (BigTom）, just beside the Famili-Mart Store. Their Drinks selection is pretty different from others restuarants, worth the trip.

Make Rojak at home and brought over for everyone to enjoy food from HOME.

Brought almost all the ingredients for making rojak, except for the ginger flower. Should put in more prawn/rojak paste to have a stronger aroma. Must change the peanut to plain type and slightly harder or crispy.

Meet up at this Turkish restaurant , foods is delicious and environment is conducive . Company is great, have a wonderful evening with old friend Sunny and Shara.

 

2022/7/14 @ 45th floor

Meet at 2pm at Exit 2 of Taipei City MRT station, surprisingly, we all are on time and proceed to 45th for High Tea. Janny has the pleasure of ordering as she is the only person who has been here and highly recommend this place for gathering.  

Each order coffee and I am the only having a cold one. French Fries and only one cake, believe me, its a huge size enough for five of us. Enjoy the chatting session with friends.

Janny is very nice, knowing l like curry. Prepared a portion for me, which I ate for three meals with French loaf bread. Lots of potato makes the curry more thicker and nicer.
