Chinese New Year 2023 - visiting relatives and catching up

CNY 2023 coming home to Singapore has been a long awaited trip after three long years of COVID restriction and uncertainty. Happy to be able to arrange visitation to relatives and friends. 8th uncle has arrange a buffet party at his place and invited all relatives, though some elders has already left us.

Thanks Gee Mee for preparing a sumptuous reunion dinner. First time seeing MingXuan girlfriend.

Myself pay a visit to 4th uncle at Farrer road block 4. Together with Hwei, pay a visit to 1st uncle at Bukit Batok. Also visited mother side 2nd auntie at hougang, enjoy the curry she has specially prepared for us. Thereafter, travel to Bedok visiting mother side 1st uncle, getting older but generally well. Thanks XinYi for inviting us to visit their new home at Bedok south. 

Hwei and GM has also preparing CNY meals.

Chinese New Year 2023- classmate & friends gathering

Meet up with friends : Poly TEC class, Poly CLS, NTI class, SDU friends, not forgetting dropping by the line dance class at Kovan bus interchange. 

Thank you LayKuan for arranging Makan at Farrer Park, place has changed a lot. Makan meet at Chin Chin restaurant in the heartland, meet up with NTI classmates for chicken rice followed  by coffee break at traditional coffee shop nearby. Thanks CBK for meeting us at clementi for lunch and opportunity to roam around clementi mall.

Happy to know my friend Choo has plan for his retirement life. Thank for the lunch at Clementi Mall. Good that we also catch up another day for a delicious prata at clementi.

My return flight was changed to attend Poly’s  CLS sixty anniversary held at Poly Alumni @ Dover Road. A rare occasion that happens in every ten years only. Thank you 賜福 for inviting to join in their weekly hiking trip at dairy farm to bukit timah hill and also grateful for picking up early in the morning.

Meet up with friends (Ellen, Minaj and Sandy) who has lived in Taiwan and back home now. We went to bukit Timah 7 mile hawker centre, great I can choose my carrot cake and sugarcane drink.

Thank you Sandy and Zac for catching up and meet at Ion@Orchard. Good to know you two are very well settle down and Zac adapting well to Singapore.

Participants must arrive earlier, before 12noon.

MingKai will be at his store at 12am.

⭕️Dress code: preferable CNY colours.

⭕️Filming location : TamShui , MK’s estate function room. 淡水區淡金路38巷35弄3號 . 

Public Parking is 10minutes walking distance .

LRT station: 竿蓁林 stop.

⭕️Foods: MingKai and Janny in charge

⭕️What to bring : two oranges per family 每一戶拿兩粒橘子🍊來拜年。

Singa Club gathering 2023/1/2

Thanks Elvin & PeiPei for arranging a gathering at their estate function’s room. Took this opportunity to send off ShihMing on his next venture migrating to Canada with his family. Janny has help to print a photograph and me contributing a photo frame for SH.  We had some new friends joining, Chris family, Albert family and Sunny family.
