Repair Umbrella 2025/7/9

Umbrella repair version 1.0 wasn’t as effective by using cable ties and metal string. The umbrella's frame sagged down and convas's profile don’t looks good. Took a while, thinking what best repair method version 2.0 . Using aluminum plate cutted from can drink container and shape like original frame. Wrapped it up with aluinum foil taping to prevent dislodge.

One of the umbrella plastic frame was broken. Above picture showed after it’s repaired.

Position where the plastic frame was broken. Obviously, can’t find any replacement part.

Repair method: cut an aluminum piece from a drink can. Bend the aluminum into frame shape, lock with a hole on one end and friction grip the other end. Wrapping with aluminum tape.

GLE birthday @IKEA 2025/6/20

First proposed to meet up at Paul restaurant, but changed to Ikea Neihu. Brought Japan-style Donut from Tokyo-Paris cake store at NanJing Road. Janny said she is going back SG for one month to join her son's Graduation ceremony and at the sametime daughter adminission to NUS.

 

Outing@ACC,2025/6/15

We took bus from YuanShan mrt stn. and reached ACC within 10minutes, just 2 bus-stop. Got a free cup of Red Wine to mark Father's day. The bread at ACC provision store is pretty nice indid.

Located on the 33th floor of Fubon Insurance building. QR code for scanning enterance gate and delicated lift with no Floor button. View from the 33th floor is pretty pleasing to the eye, seem cleaner after a heavy rain pour today. Have a good tie chatting and updating with Kakis.

Lay Hoon asked her friend KAREN to bring the birthday gift to me in Taiwan, Very kind of them to take the time to meet me to pass the T-Shirt, plus a pack of Ginger from AliShan. I did brught them two boxes of Nougat biscuitsm which Karen give it to Lay Hoon when bcak home in Singapore
