Cousin Ah Ping visit on 2023/7/26

Typhoon arrived nearby Taiwan while cousin is touring Taiwan with her two buddy. Promised to bring them to YangMing national park, however it rains heavily and not safe to travel in the mountain. However did met up with Ah Ping and brought them dinner at 朱記。She mentioned 6th uncle likes 貢唐, which I travelled by MRT all the way to 板橋「土豆齋」and brought it to W-Hotel@XingYi district.

 

Cindy send off party 2023/7/23

       Cindy Anthony mentioned, she is leaving Taiwan for good and going back home Singapore to accompany her aging parent. A bunds of us meet up at Constance place for a simple potluck session. While visiting the function centre, decided to enjoy a karaoke session and some fun time. Jenny make green bean Hot dessert with tapioca and barley added. Clarissa’s carrot cake is delicious, which I bring back the leftover for another meal.

謝如仙的書「你的誦經，我的迴響」2023/7月

        謝謝如仙學姐寄送著作來台灣，難得有機會使用PayNow處理採購款項。書的內容敘述與步入高齡長輩的點點滴滴。我們這一輩好像都會碰到「高齡矢志」的困擾，如何處理及面對這狀況，可以從書裡得到一些啟發。

High Tea at Art Center 2023/7/16

Two of us spent a beautiful Saturday afternoon with GLE at ShiLin Performance Art center just beside JianTang mrt station. It’s 7th floor has an ACME restaurant outlet, which has full glass wall overlooking beautiful Mountain View. Chair is comfortable, ceiling is high and it feels spacious. Unfortunately, only realised few days later that we have most likely left a new power bank. Restaurant said, they found none power bank after we enquired.

 

Megan Foo in Taiwan 2023/7/9

Counted that is the fourth times Megan is here in Taiwan. Earlier being whole family trip (Dick, LayHoon, Mavis & Megan), remembering bringing the whole gang to 六福村 amusement park. Still have the video seeing both taking a pony ride.  The previous trip when they tour japan and drop by Taiwan (Dick and Megan), sill has the photo taken at 淡水漁人碼頭。

July 2023 is special where Megan came with her best friend Anissa Chan Yan Wen and roam around Taipei city on their own. I got them each a travel card 都會通 for east travelling. Surprisingly, both can accept stingy tofu, especially Anissa who tried many version of stingy tofu. Invited Theo our house for quick using Panda delivery and thereafter brought them to YuanShan hotel.
