My Father Growing Old

Imagine him getting up early to make his own coffee. Reading the WangPao papers. No plans for the day. Turning on the TV a little louder than it has to be. Alone at home. Then the phone rings,he answers it, finds me on the line and ased me whether I have taken my meal. Going coffee shop and meeting old friends.
His son, a grown man now,calling from another country, increasingly distant, more and more a stranger; The call, cheering him up, nonetheless. He says, "How are you? How's everything?" He really wants to know. He is my father, after all. He is growing old. But I don't know where to start.
I want to tell him that I love him and that I'm sorry I have to live my own life now. But these are not the things I know how to say from a distance. These are things I know I may never learn to say. So we speak of smaller daily things,and soon this brief connection will unmake itself, and expire.
Expired it will be, being in far away land, one could not provides the on-hand supports and comforts needed daily. It just get distanced by the days. Being far away, every words become in-materials, another annoyance words without responsibilities. It just distanced by the days.

A bottle of Swedish Ramlosa Material Water

Our company actually distribute this product years ago when little is know about material water, bubbling gassy type from Sweden. It take a while getting use to the taste, especially a great thirst killer if you freeze the bottle.
I just can't resist picking a bottle when I found it at a Denmark Supermarket store.

Re-union Dinner 2009 year of the OX

It definitly take up much precious time preparing the re-union meal. But the good time we have override the works altogether. Everybody has a good time. Thanks the cooks.
Just look at the table full of foods, prepared whole-heartedly through the days.
It will be another year of challenge for CNY2010 to beat year CNT2009 dishes.

下過雨的傍晚很涼爽, 剛好最適合烤肉 . 一家人加上二姨及家人, 一同留下愉快的回憶. 此次的最優食物是KC's 妹妹做的雞翅膀, 加上沙爹.

Not forgetting the new recipe of Fried Wan-Tan which Jenny said she like it very much. Basically, consisting of Wan-Tan skin and prawn paste. Everyone has a nice time, thanks for the chief cook standing beside Jenny, well BBQed chicken wings.

Marina Barrage

Marina Barrage, Singapore Latest Icon belong to the launching of the PUB's 30 years planning of the Marina barrage off Marina Bay right in the heart of the City central. Overlooking the city skyline day and night. Look out for the night scene, couples will find it purely romantic place.

Standing atop Barrage roof-top viewing platform. One can see far to the Seafront and City skyline with Flyer (FairyWheel) standing out.
Barrage, a structural gadget that divides the Salt and Fresh water. It also allows water engineer to regulate the water level, especially during high tide and heavy rainfall occasion.
Do visit the exhibiting gallery within the Marina barrage. It details the development of 30years planning for water management. How water is collected effectively all whole the island country, latest being Marina Bay within the city. Makan @ Frankfurt & Copenhagen

Wine - it's origin come from grape. Lousy taste if you would taste it raw. The green colour grape are the right one for making into Wine. If you were to use the purple colour grape, it's for other purpose, I think they called it ICE wine.

According to our Guide, making of ICE wind is a complicated and take a long process. Such as, it jacks up the price of the ICE wine price value. The grape is required to be freezed during winter period with snow, couple of times before perfecting the ICE wine. Never forget to pick up good Ice-cream in a cold climate. It "warm" you heart. That how I got my cold, ha ha ha.Makan (Eating) time in Denmark, more meat lah.

The top and bottom pictures, RIB has different favours. Not the meat but the sauce. Tony-Roma still the best I have taken, it has longer rib bone and much tender meat.

Frankfurt @ Germany

Visit to Germany, Frankfurt concentrates attention on Load Carrier System products.
Beside the new roof box name EXCELLENCE, THULE has comes with RMS (Towbar bike rack) for smaller capacity motorcar who do not required towing function but need carrying of bicycle/s. It uses the THULE(Brink) removal towbar system as base.

A day-tour visit to the OPEL (GM) factory is very enlightening to see the Automatic production of automobiles at source. It even has an in-house museum, where you realise OPEL starts with making of Sewing machine and even early day Bicycle model. The museum is an eye-opening experience, when you realise the legacy of work done by forefather generations of engineers and industrialists.

Just look at the typical car parts for just one single car from VW. It's mind blogging just to count the number of parts. Now I know why the industry feeds lot of mouths and this industry just too huge to imagine.

Hainanese Chinese Rice at Seven-Mile, Bukit Timah Beauty World area. A hot summer temperature with a nice cup of original homecook barley drink. It costs to be have fancy food dressing. For me a simple plate of local chicken rice will be just fine.

Soon Seng & Suet Ni Visited Taipei

Soon Seng and family visit to JiuFeng Hill-village, where they brought quite a number of goodies and toys.

Just look at the crowd, one has to really menovurve around to get pass the crowd.

Happy moment at the Children Playground park before Jing Rong get her tongue injured. Felt so sorry. He smile is just cativative.

Year of Healthy Cycling 2008
